Found a glitch! But awesome submission.

If you choose to put the grid on in the preloader application, it shows up on the rest of the movie, I suggest you change that quickly! Anyway, awesome job you guys as always.

TITROTU responds:

I know. We're working on that. :)

Amazing!

The background design's were Brackenwood quality for sure especially the stream animation. The animation was also very well done, excellent job.

animatorjones responds:

! another brackenwood comparison :o this to me is a HUGE compliment, but like i said before, he's on a much higher level than i am. but also like i said, one day i'll be there :D

Not Gears of War

The animation was good and some parts of the flash were exciting, but it just failed the capture the essence of GoW. For example, you should have made the main characters hide behind objects and using more tactical manovurs. The Kryl looked like bats and the thing at the end just looked like a tarantula, I guess you meant it to be a giant locust (like the ones you have to kill with the hammer of dawn). There weapons need to be more significant, like the chainsaw parts were not graphic enough like in the game so those parts were rather wasted. Also, at one point one the stickmen fires some sort of a rocket. This weapon is not in GoW at all. The only thing close to it is the boomshot and those don't have a scope and isn't used to kill enemies in the sky. Also there needs to be sections of dialogue to develop the characters like in the game.

Overall, it was a decent flash, you probably just need the research GoW a little more.

Drifts responds:

Wow what a review lol, actually it was a blaster in Gears of war, and i remember because, the day before i finished i played the game at my firends house, and he used it on me, then lost D:

Yeah the other "spider" was meant to be the giant Locust.

But yeah i could've used tactical manovurs, but as you may know it was rushed because i only have a few weeks to finish before 19th June. But i still understand were you critiszm is based. thanks i'll keep that in mind for my next animations :D

lol

"There's a fork in the road.....can I keep it?" Awesome flash, keep it up, yo!

MasterLock responds:

No, you don't know where it's been!

Amazing

I was lucky enough to see this masterpiece 3 days early! Awesome work Morrow, what more can I say? :)

MorrowDays responds:

Thanks nick! You actually can't say any more, I wouldnt allow it. I'm glad you stopped where you did.

Very overrated :\

I liked it, it was clever how you interpreted the lyrics to create funny caricatures, but lets face it, you've just taken advantage of a massively hyped up game to get a very high score from fanboys. It's just a slideshow of rushed pictures loosely tied together with some vague animation. It was funny, but not worth 4.26.

Crazy!

Very nice graphics, I like the why you constructed the different patterns and animated them. Very good artwork on SBC and on the background. Also, thanks for the wallpaper at the end! =D

BlueHippo responds:

ooh we have matching wallpapers now :3

Very Abstract :D

I love this abstract style and the music went well with it. Keep up the awesome work.

MorrowDays responds:

thanks nick, you too!

Amazing

This is by a large margin my new favourite flash on Newgrounds. I love the simplicity, the art and the choice of music.

When the little man started running along those steps and the music started, I knew it was going to be a lovely film. One of my favourite parts was when the man was running along that street of houses, I noticed the attention to detail when you made the closer houses fly by quicker. It also made me think about the little abstract city in which the man lives.

My absolute favourite was when the man was falling through the sky and to my relief, he catches an umbrella. There is superb timing with the music in the way that it changes from a faster pace to a slow piano tune. It completely changes the mood. I loved the bit with the staircase, mainly becasue you actually spent the time cutting out the pieces in between the banisters. The bit at the end was something I loved as well. The why in which the man just sailed away on that ornament, it's nice and cute.

All in all, a fantastic watch 10/10

MorrowDays responds:

In that case I think we need to make a journey film like this together some time!

unoriginal

Well, it's fair enough making a movie about the Newgrounds under judgement system, but the whole 'stages' thing you've got going on there is obviously copied from 'Under Judgement'. Anyway, alright movie, not so original.

Rutger responds:

Stages? :( I tried to be pretty original! I didn't see any "staages" in under judgement? :(

I am a cartoon robot thing
