Awesome

This was Awesome! When I was watching it, I thought it was done mostly with tweens, only to discover in you comments that it's mostly FBF! This must have taken you ages, the flash has got to run at 30+ FPS, i'm not surprised its taken so long to make. But it's payed off in the end for you, a big congrats for getting such a high score 4.50, sizzling xD

Oh yeah and congrats for getting front page whilst under judgement, the ultimate seal of approval.

It's actually (only) 16 fps. YA RLLY.

By animating frame by frame I can use some little tricks that are unavailible in tween animation to make the animation look smoother. But in the end, it's only 16 fps.

Pretty Awesome

Wow, this was great, I love the way you synced with the music so well and the artwork was great. The song was strange but great, it sort of reminds me of Aphex Twin. At first I thought the flash was still loading when it kept stopping at the credits in the beginning, then I realised that it was meant to be like that, very clever ; )

Thanks! Aphex Twin has been one of my favorites, maybe it's some miraculous subconsciousness of mine to pick a similiar track from the Newgrounds AP? :)

The clipping piano was what at first hand got me addicted to the track. I always like the sort of abstract twists to things.

[Little FBF]

Smooth

This is a very smooth and visually exciting FBF animation. he tree was well drawn and so was the background. The stick figure character was well animated and the sounds were pretty good as well. The main thing you need to work on and you'll probably get this a lot in the future reviews is to make it longer; its a brilliant short, but to get the higher marks you need to expand it more and make it longer. Awesome job!

Brilliant!

WOW! I loved the way you used textured like kitchen roll and socks as objects and backgrounds. The pencil drawings were really well drawn as well. This is a very imaginative flash, i'm not quite sure what was going on, but I really enjoyed it. The music was also a very good touch and went very well with it!

Thanks nicholas! My favorite of the textures was the kitchen roll as the background :)
After watching it over a few times, I decided there was really no need to add a really sensible plot, because without one the animation just sort of washes over you peacefully, and that was what I was going for.

Nice and Sweet

This was a sweet little Mario short. I quite liked it, the music was great, obviously well suited to the flash. The animation was quite basic, but entertaining, the drawing could use a little work, but at least you didn't use sprites. Only one thing though, you could have easily put in a Mario background in there, but you chose not to, it would be better than a white background. Good job!

[Demented Cartoon Movie!]

Very Funny

At first I didn't believe that this was 30 minutes long, mainly because of the file size, you did a great job optimizing the sounds. The graphics aren't great, but thats not really that important, it doesn't have to have great graphics to be a brilliant move. The best attribute of the move has to be the voice overs, there so witty and funny, the two guys in the chairs were a great laugh. The flash is also really quite imaginative and it is clear that this took a long time to make. The thing that annoys me is that when this was first submitted, people will have voted low because of the graphics, but if most people watched most of the movie they would have realised that it is worth a much better mark and I'm glad that this has been voted up now to a score it deserves.

Very informative!

You make some excellent points there DrClay, its true, art collabs are being neglected and abandoned all of the time. This flash will definitively spread the awareness of whats going on in the art forum and make collabs more reliable. Thank you for making this flash, it will surely benefit loads of artists.

By the Way, I thought that the text animation was pretty good and some of the effects you used there were great!

[Out of Sync]

Wonderful

One of the most wonderful animations I've seen. The graphics were very simple, yet so effective. I loved the little details as well, the way the box swayed to the side when it was brought down to the ground and the brilliant running animations. The style was excellent, I love the drawing style in this on. Some fabulous FBF animation in there as well, I 'm sure it must be so difficult animating a dog as well as a human. Plus the music, I don't think there is a better bit of music to go with this animation piece, it fit like a glove, I didn't know Aphex Twin did classical pieces. Plus it did make me feel very sad, it also made me think about a lot of over things when watching this, not just about dying pets.

Awesome Graphics

I think this is a really nice piece of flash, The graphics were lovely, the animation was well thought out and mostly FBF (+1 cool point xD) and there was something about it which made me feel kind of happy but at the the same time I felt sorry for the birdman character. I like the whole setting of the clouds and the room, it was really experimental. Oh yeah and the music really fit the flash's theme as well, awesome job mate, keep it up :D

I can't tell you how happy I am that you managed to empathise/feel emotion due to my animation - really, you can't pay much more of a compliment than that! I'm also chuffed that you got not just one feeling, but two out of it! Ambiguity does work!

Nice Stick movie

It was a great stick movie, the animation was really smooth (must have been quite a high frame rate) and the sound effects worked really well. The objects were also drawn well and I liked the bullet hole effects.
There are 2 main problems with this flash, however:
1). The white bars on the screen keep getting obstructed by bits of stick man, but this can be easily fixed by putting the white bars on the top layer.
2). I would strongly suggest that you change the age rating on this submission. This flash contains frequent violence worth a 13+ or even a 17+ age rating, yet you've got a "suitable for all" age rating on it.
