Very Nice

The first part was a bit 'tongue in cheek' considering it was just two stick men talking but then when the camera started zooming in on the dot and the music started, I could sense things were about to get good. Awesome movie, maybe you could have done a bit more with the bullet, but whatever. But my favourite bit was when the bullet cascaded through the water in slow-mo, that was spot on and well synched with the music as well.

Crazy!

Very nice graphics, I like the why you constructed the different patterns and animated them. Very good artwork on SBC and on the background. Also, thanks for the wallpaper at the end! =D

BlueHippo responds:

ooh we have matching wallpapers now :3

Very Abstract :D

I love this abstract style and the music went well with it. Keep up the awesome work.

MorrowDays responds:

thanks nick, you too!

Awesome

This is better than the original video in my opinion. Keep up the amazing work!

Amazing

This is by a large margin my new favourite flash on Newgrounds. I love the simplicity, the art and the choice of music.

When the little man started running along those steps and the music started, I knew it was going to be a lovely film. One of my favourite parts was when the man was running along that street of houses, I noticed the attention to detail when you made the closer houses fly by quicker. It also made me think about the little abstract city in which the man lives.

My absolute favourite was when the man was falling through the sky and to my relief, he catches an umbrella. There is superb timing with the music in the way that it changes from a faster pace to a slow piano tune. It completely changes the mood. I loved the bit with the staircase, mainly becasue you actually spent the time cutting out the pieces in between the banisters. The bit at the end was something I loved as well. The why in which the man just sailed away on that ornament, it's nice and cute.

All in all, a fantastic watch 10/10

MorrowDays responds:

In that case I think we need to make a journey film like this together some time!

Awesome

You have some mad skills and I will look forward to seeing them in future flash presentations. I really like the progressively imaginative and clever level designs. I would have given you a 10 but I think that the frame rate should be higher for the optimum viewing experience.

unoriginal

Well, it's fair enough making a movie about the Newgrounds under judgement system, but the whole 'stages' thing you've got going on there is obviously copied from 'Under Judgement'. Anyway, alright movie, not so original.

Rutger responds:

Stages? :( I tried to be pretty original! I didn't see any "staages" in under judgement? :(

Needs a lot of work

Bugs:
-When you press the 'artists' button on the main menu, it just goes to the start
-By the end, there were about 5 copies of the same song playing
-The movie would pften jump around showing unfinished frames

Advice:
-maybe look at some of the tutorials on Newgrounds
-when you've got more experience, maybe do another collab.

good luck.

PicoZX responds:

Thanks for the review.
I'll take it.

Brilliant

Superb timing in this one, it's also very funny and true. I really think that you should have made this submission the 400th rather than that other fake one, as this one looks like theres actually been effort put into it. Anyway, good job.

Not half bad

When I first saw it, I thought it was going to be a tut aimed at instructing people how to blam stuff, it's a good job it isn't because I don't think you could write that much.

Anyway, it was pretty well put together, the voices weren't crackly and the text tweens were in synch and smooth. One thing you could do is add more Newgrounds webpage pics in the background instead of just a black screen, it would make it more interesting. I would also advise you to call this tut, 'Blam Tutorial Vol 1' so that when you make the rest you can make them as different volumes.

I am a cartoon robot thing
