Awesome!

I really loved the abstract animation used here and as usual with you two, the use of music was brilliant. The slow motion scenes were fantastic and the more abstract scenes really helped build up the atmosphere and also suspense.

Great work guys, keep it up!

An enjoyable watch!

It was really fun watching this Flash and it was obvious throughout that you had spent a considerable amount of time working on it. I've watched all of your Castle Crasher parodies so far and it's clear that with each instalment, your animation skills get better and better. Looking forward to next episode, excellent job!

Amazing!

The opening shot was excellent and the flash was solid throughout. You definitely nailed the whole atmospheric vibe as well as great use of cinematography. I noticed while watching it that the shots outside the shack are fullscreen whereas the interior shots are smaller to literally create a sense of being trapped and isolated, a great touch. One thing I admire about the flash as well is that it's very long but still keeps the audience on edge, it must have been about 8 minutes long but I enjoyed all of it.

The only thing I was a bit hesitant about was the ending, I was a little confused about that. But nether-the-less, brilliant work!

Brilliant!

The style complimented the animation very well as did the smooth animation. This a brilliant parody and was very funny, excellent work dude!

needs work

I just wasn't really digging the whole style, it seems quite messy. I think you just need to work on your drawing style, animation and writing. This is not too bad for a few hours but I would get more practice in Flash before attempting another one of these. Good luck dude :)

Aqlex responds:

I've been told I have a very unique drawing style. Some people like it, some people completely hate it. I was never much of a drawing person though, so that's kept my art style somewhat simple and cartoonish. I dunno about more practice with Flash though, I've already had like 3 years of practice, and if what you say is true, then it obviously hasn't been very helpful xD. I will be attempting to make more animations though, don't worry!

Best of?

For a 'best of' flash it's certainly not very impressive at all. Its confusing and not too enjoyable to watch. Although I must admit that some of the sonic stuff was pretty funny :)

But yeah, I've watched some of your flashes and they all seem to be the same thing...traced and 'borrowed' graphics with strange audio and relentless inside jokes. I really think you should just quit the spam flashes and try and make a proper animation feature, I would be interested to see what you could produce.

Murray responds:

I stopped two years after you reviewed this. ;)

was alright

Honestly I didn't really enjoy watching the flash...the end was good but apart from that it wasn't too entertaining. The main thing I don't get is, is this meant to be an Eddsworld spin off or something? I don't get it. Also it was really short and stuff.

Good, but inconsistent...

I did think that some of the animation was good but I can't really say that I enjoyed watching it that much. The main reason was that I though that the whole layout was quite messy. I'm talking of both the actual scenes and also literally. What I mean about the scenes is that they often cut off too suddenly without providing closure or indeed an explanation, also I think some parts should be put in a different order to make the whole thing feel like it's running smoother. By literally messy I mean that the HUD used in the collab keeps changing in each of the parts. You should have created one V-Cam with a HUD on it at the start of the collab and got everyone to download that one so everyone has the same V-Cam and it looks consistent.

Other than that I thought it was pretty good. Although I am puzzled why did not just wait till Madness Day itself to submit this as it is only a week and a but away.

I did enjoy it

I do like the series but I don't necessarily find all of the jokes funny. In this episode however, there were a couple of little jokes which really made me laugh. Another strong point I'd say is the character/plot development especially with those rival neighbours. I don't recall those neighbours being in previous episodes but I do reckon it would be great to carry them on in future episodes to show a contrast between the two groups of characters.

Great job, keep it up!

where's the animation?

This is really something you should put on a blog if you really want to tell people about it. I mean why do you feel the need to try and show people your PM's in the first place? They're called private messages for a reason...Anyway, there was practically no animation what so ever and you hardly did any of the artwork either. The sprite dragon thing isn't yours and the mouse and other various objects are obviously traced.

Please in future if you're going to submit flashes maybe try some frame by frame of at least work on your tweening animation skills. Hope this review has helped.

For laughs at the time I worked on it but honestly, I don't care about it anymore.

I am a cartoon robot thing
